FlareRPC is a modern, easy-to-use Discord RPC app which is used to enhance your presence on Discord. It consists of many features like start-on-boot and max customisation of your discord RPC and is very low on RAM.
Here is a step-by-step guide that will help you to setup and install FlareRPC:
Installation:
- Head over to Download and select your desired OS.
- After the download, double click the file (.exe); this will start the installation of the app.
- After the installation, it will open the app automatically.
Setup:
- Head over to the Discord Developer Portal and create a new application.
- Copy the application ID or the client ID of the application.
- Open FlareRPC and paste the Application Id in the
Client ID * field. - Enter other necessary fields you want and then scroll down and click on the
Connect and Set button. - Wait for a few moments until it shows the successfully connected message.
- Check the Discord app (app, not browser) and you will see a beautiful RPC in your profile.
- Now you can close the app as it can work in the background efficiently.
How to setup assets (Images)?
To show images in your RPC, you need to upload them as assets:
- In the Discord Developer Portal, select your application.
- Go to the Rich Presence tab in the sidebar and click Art Assets.
- Scroll down to Rich Presence Assets and click Add Image(s).
- Upload your image and give it a simple name (e.g.,
logo). - Click Save Changes.
- In FlareRPC, type that exact name (
logo) into the Large Image Key or Small Image Key field.
